Marianne & Daniel | Moss Norway

I absolutely loved having the chance to go back to Norway to work with these two.  What I love about a traditional Norwegian Wedding is that, not only in the dance of choice Swing dancing, the family & friends do whats called sketches on behalf of the two.  Plays, dances, stories, songs,  games and it goes till 2-3AM!  Here are some of my favorite images that captured the evening.  Laughter and lots of dancing to commemorate the evening.

Santa Cruz Mini Sessions Are Back

Hello friends,

It has been a little while since I have been able to make it down but I will be scheduling 8 mini sessions on Saturday, April 30, 2016.  Each session is 15 minutes to just get a few great photos for Spring/Summer.  If you would like to book a regular session afterwards, receive 10% your session when you book that day for any returning clients!  I am offering 3 products outside made special for my Swift Beach Mini Sessions.  Something small, and surf inspired.  Please contact me for further details.

Lisa + Mike | Santa Cruz Winery

Lisa and Mike are a super awesome couple.  Mike, a hipster house painter married a super fun girl who has worked at NASA.  This love is out of this world (ha!  No pun intended)!  I feel it was a privilege to photograph their Bargetto Winery Wedding in Sunny Soquel, CA.  A family and friend affair, this wedding was filled with great food, lost of dancing and hair tossing, and they even brought their dog Erin!

Tracee + Travis Genoa Wedding

Such a fantastic couple these two.  This intimate wedding was located in Genoa, NV at David Walley's Hotsprings.  Her Dress, WTOO from Swoon Bridal and the bridesmaids dresses from JCREW.  Her "Pinterest Mason Jar" inspired wedding, turned out exactly how she had pictured it in her mind.  A fun DIY project for any bride that would like to add some personal touches to her wedding day.  The couple incorporated a candy bar and cupcakes into their perfect day, it was such a hit!  And danced the night away to Journey (such a classic)!

A Norwegian Candlelit Wedding

Ariel and Adrian are two of my favorite people.  A Hawaiian/Norwegian wedding.   Dating 3 years across the ocean, an eleven hour time difference, these two made it happen and fell in love.  They met while doing volunteer work in Ecuador in 2012.   And I am so happy that I had the privilege of photographing their wedding!

One of my favorite features of this wedding was the "Sketch" a performance put together by friends and family of how the 2 met and funny experiences of while the two were dating.

The actual wedding date was a few days before the reception, marking their three year anniversary of the day they met in Ecuador.  Then that Saturday, the festivities too place.
